Drug discovery DRUGS alleged to be cocaine, ecstasy, methylamphetamine, and cannabis have been seized from a house in Carrum Downs. Police executed a warrant at the Fairhaven Road home on 7 September. Inside they allegedly found the drugs, as well as other prescription drugs and over $20,000 in cash. A 32-year-old woman was arrested at the house. Police later charged her with nine offences, including possess proceeds of crime, traffick drug of dependence, and possess drug of dependence. The woman was bailed to appear at the Frankston Magistrates Court on 8 March, 2022

Alleged drunk driver A MAN was allegedly caught driving four times over the alcohol limit in Keysborough on Monday night, 13 September. Police were called and told that a Mitsubishi Outlander had crashed into street signs at the intersection of Springvale and Cheltenham Roads at about 9.20pm. Police arrived and conducted an evidentiary breath test on the driver, which allegedly returned a reading of 0.207. Police say they expect to charge the 37-year-old Keysborough resident with drink driving and other traffic related offences.
