he project began with an extensive property search, guided by Adam and Ben Copenhaver, co-founders of CopeGrand Homes, who partnered closely with their clients in the quest to find the perfect home in Charleston. Alongside their clients’ realtor, Shayne Matthews of The Litchfield Company, they meticulously evaluated numerous waterfront properties, considering factors such as size, low maintenance, value, livability, and potential repair or update needs. It wasn’t until they discovered this particular property that they felt it truly had the potential to become the ideal home. “We purchased our home sight unseen, relying solely on a video walkthrough and assessment from Ben and Adam. CopeGrand Homes’ level of detail and their study of the home in due diligence resulted in us making it our forever home.
