Why was it important to use an architect for this project?

This was an unusual, triangular shaped lot and our clients wanted to maximize the amazing triple

What were some of the homeowners’ requirements? The client desired a four bedroom home with a game room, open-plan kitchen, great room, den, study, and a separate guest house.

What special or unique design ideas did you present to the client for this project? We created an oval island with two levels in the kitchen to work with the geometry of the house.

How were you able to design a solution to some of the challenges of this project? Working with the geometry of the lot, we designed a racetrack shaped great room that opens to the kitchen and highlights the fire place with floating shelves at the other end.

What is your favorite design feature of this home? The barrel roofed den on the second floor with arched top windows framing the incredible views is a favorite.
