Masterful Remodel In order to achieve a masculine vibe throughout, this Kiawah Island homeowner collaborated with an interior designer and builder to help remodel his Lowcountry dwelling.
A
fter working on highend custom construction projects throughout Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, Chris Harper has built a name for himself. In building his company, Chris also forged connections with other industry professionals such as Shannon Bogan of S. Bogan Designs, and Jay Valk with Classic Kitchens of Charleston. “Shannon brought us in on this project,” Chris mentions. “The homeowner is a father and has sons, so the goal was to achieve a manly vibe throughout the house, with the color palette and the structural elements.” The kitchen is one of the stand-out

spots in this home with a double island, wet-bar area, oversized pendant lights, and green cabinets. “We worked with Jay on these cabinets and they turned out really great,” Chris explains. “The colors were custom picked with the intention of reflecting the beautiful marsh view here, so it all blends together.” In addition to the colors in the décor, Chris also used a wood-like tile on the floor throughout the main areas of the home.
