Modern Overhaul With hopes of a comprehensive renovation with thoughtful changes to the entire house to modernize it, this Kiawah Island resident was on the hunt for a versatile cabinet maker to overhaul their kitchen and bathrooms.
A
20-year-old beach house on Kiawah Island had good bones but was in need of a significant renovation.
The homeowner was looking to gut the kitchen and baths, select new flooring, replace exterior doors and windows, upgrade lighting, and more. He also wanted to get the interior design and furnishings completed at the same time as the renovations. “This required key decisions on coordinating construction materials and key lead-time items such as appliances and lighting fixtures,” the homeowner notes.

In order to accomplish that, the homeowner collaborated with kitchen and bath experts. Southeast
Kitchens. “Their work featured a fresh, forward approach to design that attracted us,” the homeowner mentions. Southeast Kitchens was brought on to renovate the kitchen and bathrooms throughout the dwelling, and in the end, helped with much more. “Our projects are quite collaborative with the homeowner,” notes Jonathon Leeke, owner of Southeast Kitchens. “With an initial design consult, inspiration from the client, and a walk-through of the space, we will put a preliminary layout and cabinet plan together. We have the benefit of both in-house design and contracting services, which results in a cohesive building plan tailored to our client’s vision for the space.”
