Located in McKenzie Arena, the Mocs’ computer lab gives student-athletes a convenient place to study, receive tutoring help and complete assignments.
The Chattanooga Mocs have an excellent Academic Support Service in place for all student-athletes. Through the use of advisors, tutors, study halls and many other programs, the Office of Academic Services is on hand to help each student-athlete reach his or her ultimate goal of earning a college degree. Goals of the Office of Academic Support Services • To support each student athlete’s effort to receive a quality education. • To encourage and facilitate the goals for each student-athlete’s career path. • To ensure that the academic integrity of UTC is maintained. • To comply with all rules and regulations of UTC, the Southern Conference and the NCAA. • To help ensure the continuing athletic eligibility during a studentathlete’s years at UTC.

MOCS rank NO. 7 IN THE NATION IN TEAM G.P.A. In 2010-11, the Mocs team g.p.a. was a 3.14 and ranked No. 7 in the nation. UTC had four student-athletes on the NWCA All-Academic Team, the fourth-most representatives in the nation. Awarded by the National Wrestling Coaches Association, individuals must have at least a 3.2 cumulative GPA, been an NCAA qualifier or win 60 percent of his matches – and compete in at least 60 percent of his team’s schedule.
