Chaiworawat Natthaphon

Natthaphon Chaiworawat is an independent artist, art practitioner and researcher. He is also a Fine Art instructor at the Faculty of Architecture at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang, Bangkok, Thailand.  He believes that creative thinking is linked and visualized from abstraction into concrete images in a way that links circumstances together in order to create a suitable outcome.  Inspecting activities and circumstances in between time and space that exist in our everyday life, but may not be perceived consciously, affects Chaiworawat's comprehension about the real meaning of “self” or “belonging”. His intention is to concretize internal abstraction of time (body) and space (mind), including visual and perceptual mechanisms, in a simple way. In order to contribute an “area” that manifests the value of the before, the now and the afterward, that lets us to look back to ourselves with common perceptions in different way. Chaiworawat participated in several exhibitions, of which he stands out: PAErsche LAB17 / Performance-Art-Conference Kulturbunker Köln-Mülheim Cologne Germany; Young Portfolio 2015 Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Art Takane-cho Hokuto-shi Yamanashi Japan; Asiatopia – Performance Art Conference 2016 Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (Bacc) Bangkok Thailand; SELF FESTIVAL Palazzo Ca’ Zanardi Venice Italy; Real Humans Arles Weekend Contemporain Galerie Joseph Antonin Arles France; Art en Capital Grand Palais Paris France; Copenhagen Photo Festival Carlsberg Brewery Copenhagen Denmark.
