What is a crisis anyway?

Anytime you are feeling misunderstood or overwhelmed and needing to talk to someone about what’s happening, especially before you run away or cause harm to yourselves or others. Crisis can affect anyone at any time. The need for emotional support or other assistance is something most individuals encounter at some point in their lives A crisis hotline is a phone number people can call to get immediate emergency telephone counseling, usually by trained volunteers.

This is a 24-hour hotline for runaway and homeless youth and their families, providing crisis intervention, information and referrals If you are considering running away you can call and have someone listening to you in a non judgmental way. Spanish speaking staff available.

This 24-hour crisis line is a statewide emergency response system for youth ages 12-24 and families in crisis. They provide intervention, counseling, and phone connection to service providers and information and referrals. Spanish speaking staff available. Translation services are available for multiple languages.
