SHORT FILM SYNOPSIS

Mehrtash Mohit is an Iranian-Canadian writer and director. His work explores themes that unpack societal values and expose dilemmas. His most recent short film, Retributive Minds, won Best Foreign Language Film at NYC SHORTS and he is currently in development on another short, Finding Shelter, which was nominated for best short screenplay at the Atlanta Film Festival and New York International Screenplay Awards. Mehrtash is also in development on his first feature film, which was selected for research funding from the Canada Council for the Arts.
