Figure 1 The collaborative student work, “Peace Puzzle”, was created during a ceremony at the Waging Peace reception. The resulting work was based on a piece by California based artist, Richelle Gribble. Students designed and painted the puzzle pieces in their classrooms prior to the reception; students from 12 schools participated in the collaborative effort.
