FIRE DEPARTMENT
Office Of Emergency Management
The Celina Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is a newly-created division of the Celina Fire Department that was created to aid in protecting lives, property, and the environment from disasters and emergencies through a proactive all-hazards approach to emergency preparedness, planning, mitigation efforts, public education, and emergency incident response.

“I am thrilled that the City of Celina is willing to exhaust every effort to equip and inform residents before and through emergency incidents,” said Celina Emergency Management Coordinator Elizabeth Thomas (pictured left). “This platform will allow our residents to stay current with information such as outdoor warning sirens, changing weather conditions, and information surrounding sudden emergency or crisis situations in our community.”

Cold Weather
It is important to remember the “4’ P’s” during cold temperatures: People, Pets. Pipes, and Plants are all vulnerable during cold temperatures.
• People: Check on vulnerable family, friends, and neighbors.
• Pets: Bring your pets inside. If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for your pet.
• Pipes: Cover and insulate pipes when temperatures are expected to be freezing or below.
• Plants: Bring plants inside if you can, or cover them to help them stay warm.
