Sliders. An Expected surprise

Sliders
An expected surprise

Last Sunday, I had lunch at Sliders Burger Shop, in Polanquito. It is a typical cheeseburger dinner located on Virgilio Street, in Miguel Hidalgo, Mexico City. Their menu is mostly burgers, but they also serve sandwiches, salads and soups. I myself ordered a FarmHouse cheeseburger, which contains beef, cheese, bacon, tomato, onions, pickles, and a fried egg. I complimented it with some original Sliders sauce and curly fries on the side. It was not my first time at Sliders, and it will certainly not be the last. I went to the restaurant with three other people. We were welcomed and walked to our table even though we had no reservation. We were provided with the QR code for the menu and left to decide. The place is decorated with a white tile wall, vintage chairs and neon signs to give off a retro vibe but with a modern touch. Our waiter returned after a while and we ordered our food. As I mentioned before, I ordered a cheeseburger with an egg on it, just to try something new. When it got to the table it looked every bit as tasty as I imagined. The fried egg was still in one piece, ready to be devoured. I started eating and with that came bliss. The egg blended perfectly with the rest of the burger, and so did all the other ingredients. The curly fries went well as a side, but nothing more than that. I finished my food with no problem, and with a great feeling of satisfaction. I should mention that the burger itself cost MXN $180, which is a bit expensive, considering that other restaurants charge around MXN $100 for a similar burger. However, even if it’s expensive, it is worth every bite, and you will not be disappointed if you choose to order it.
After my time at Sliders, I certainly felt more happy. Apart from satisfying my hunger, I also enjoyed a very nice meal with a good conversation.
Sliders opens at 1:00 p.m. every day, except Sunday (it opens at 12:00 p.m.), and closes at 11:00 p.m. from Monday to Wednesday, at 12:00 a.m. on Thursdays, at 1:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and again at 11:00 p.m on Sundays. I strongly recommend that you visit Sliders anytime soon, as you will be pleasantly surprised with their exquisite hamburgers and other dishes. Even if you end up ordering a cheeseburger without cheese, like one of my companions.
