On 9 February 2022, South Australian born and bred McMahon Services celebrated an impressive 32 years in business! From just 12 people in 1990, they have grown to over 900 people with offices in most Australian States and Territories, together with an office in New Zealand.

They are extremely proud of what they have achieved throughout their journey – and can humbly say that they are now the largest South Australia owned business in the construction and infrastructure space. Did you know that the business has origins dating back to 1970? In which David and Andrew’s father Glen McMahon, commenced a waste disposal, demolition and earthmoving company. This family business heritage is still with them today. They respect where they have come from and respect all of the people who have been involved in their ongoing journey, from clients to partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and their staff. They know their family business heritage sets them apart, enabling consistent, exceptional project delivery, and each day they continue to challenge themselves to innovate and provide better solutions for their clients. Andrew McMahon and David McMahon, said of this exciting milestone: “What an incredible journey we have created. We have a team of some of the most skilled people in the construction services industry, and we have met some amazing people throughout the journey, who have developed into great friends. “WE HAVE ALL LEARNT FROM EACH OTHER, AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO TEACH THE YOUNGER GENERATION TO UPSKILL THEIR CAREERS. IT’S BEEN QUITE A RIDE, AND LOTS OF HARD WORK, BUT A VERY ENJOYABLE ONE! THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THEIR DEDICATION AND SUPPORT!”

Whilst they couldn’t possibly include a picture of everyone who has been integral to their growth over the years, here are some of the memories from their time.

They would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in their team for their hard work and support. Cheers to another 32 years!
