How long have you been in business?

How many machines do you have in your fleet and what types?

Conplant is a privately owned Australian business which has been operating for 57 years. In that time, we’ve built an unmatched reputation for delivering Australia’s leading compaction equipment and technology, with safety being our priority.

Currently in SA we have 150 rollers in the fleet, with over 1000 rollers nationally. The fleet includes trench rollers, tandem rollers, single drum rollers and multi-tyre rollers ranging from 1t – 42t. To provide our high level of service, Conplant operates a fleet of low loaders and tilt trays ready to deliver anytime, anywhere.

Where are you located? We are located at 44 Plymouth Road, Wingfield, and we have 9 other branches across Australia.

Our fleet in South Australia features world leading compaction equipment brands including Ammann, Wacker Neuson, Caterpillar and Hamm.

What are your core business activities/specialties? Conplant’s core focus is compaction hire, sales and service. We’ve got the largest national hire fleet working across every state in Australia – and our experience, expertise and service is unmatched. We are also the exclusive Australian distributor of the complete range of Wacker Neuson Heavy Compaction Rollers up to 28 tonnes. With award-winning customer service and support, providing rapid response field service, mechanical repairs or a major overhaul, we’re ready to ensure success in every project we are associated with. To help make that happen, we have a multimillion-dollar parts inventory throughout Australia to supply our hire fleet and retail sales – from oils to new engines and all accessories, 24/7.

How many staff do you employ?

How important is technology and innovation for what you do? Safety is Conplant’s priority. We’ve designed and developed new technologies to eliminate risk and injury that respond directly to the toughest challenges our customers have brought to us. Our unmanned rollers, rollover protective structures and intelligent collision avoidance systems are preventing injuries to operators, increasing productivity, and most importantly, creating a safer work environment.

Conplant employs 15 South Australians including a sales team, operational staff, field service technicians and transport drivers. Together with our support team across Australia, we’re ready to meet your requirements.

Completed projects/products or services you have worked on or that you are most proud of? Conplant has supplied various ranges of compaction equipment to all major road infrastructure, and maintenance projects across South Australia from CBD to Mt Gambier, Moomba, Oodnadatta, Yalata and Kangaroo Island.
