Carmen Trifiletti

Carmen Trifiletti, a dedicated clerk at the New Jersey Department of Human and Special Services, hails from Harrison Township in Gloucester County. His journey in public service is rooted in his upbringing in Woodbury, the county seat, where he first developed a commitment to community aid. A Clearview Regional High School and Cabrini College graduate, he has built a career that exemplifies a blend of administrative diligence and community engagement. Trifiletti oversees various administrative duties at the New Jersey Department of Human and Special Services. This agency, the largest in the state, serves over two million residents and provides support across a spectrum of needs, including disability services, addiction and mental health assistance, and childcare solutions. His work includes managing crucial committee meetings—such as those for CEAS, CIACC, COMA, HSAC, and LPRC—and he is an active member of the Living Proof Advisory Board. In this capacity, he helps organize workshops and events that significantly benefit the local communities, drawing hundreds of participants. Before his current role, he served in a different capacity, closer to hands-on maintenance. He was a maintenance worker at Shady Lane Nursing Home in East Greenwich Township, where he played a critical role in the facility's upkeep. This experience allowed him to provide a safe and comfortable environment for residents, honing skills that would later be indispensable in his administrative career. Additionally, Carmen Trifiletti's earlier roles included working as a camp counselor for the Clearview Youth Basketball League, where he taught sportsmanship and basketball skills to children.
