Book Week delights

Each year since 1945, the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) has brought children and books together across the country through CBCA Book Week.

A wonderful celebration of Book Week took place across the ELC and Junior School, Kew in late August. We spent two glorious weeks celebrating books and Australian children’s authors and illustrators.

Year 5 and 6 students spent time developing activities for all JSK students, ran competitions and highlighted the importance of reading.

There were parades in House and across the ELC, with students dressed as their favourite book character. What a wonderful way to celebrate reading!
