During 2019, the CAPTRUST Community Foundation provided more than $350,000 of financial support to more than 85 deserving charities serving the needs of children around the country. Included in this amount was a $100,000 donation to CORRAL Riding Academy, 2019’s Charity of Choice. CORRAL aspires to shepherd girls through their difficult middle and high school years and into college. The five-pillar approach they use allows girls to take what they learn at the program and apply it in their lives far beyond the horse farm. Foundation Board Members The CAPTRUST Community Foundation (CCF) is pleased to welcome 11 new board members who will serve two-year terms, along with announcing a new organization president. We are pleased to announce one new regional office, four new financial advisors, and one key hire.
Louise Loehwing In October, Louise Loehwing joined our Allentown, Pennsylvania, office as a financial advisor responsible for providing retirement plan advisory services to corporate fiduciaries. Prior to joining CAPTRUST, Louise held the position of senior consultant at Westminster Consulting. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Rider University. Louise has been working in the financial industry since 2004.
Brendan Nosovitch Brendan Nosovitch joined the firm in October as a financial advisor working in our Allentown, Pennsylvania, office. His primary focus is providing retirement plan advisory services to corporate fiduciaries. He came to us from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Brendan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the Darla Moore School of Business and a Master of Business Administration degree in business administration and management from the Boston College Carroll School of Business.
Bradley Pendzick Bradley Pendzick joined the firm’s Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, office in November as a financial advisor responsible for providing investment advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. Prior to CAPTRUST, Bradley was assistant wealth manager at Legend Financial Advisors. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Pittsburgh.
Tanya Runyon Tanya Runyon joined us in November from Transamerica Retirement Solutions where she was a vice president, sales, for institutional markets. Based in our Dallas, Texas, office, she serves as a financial advisor responsible for providing retirement plan advisory services to corporate fiduciaries. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Mississippi and has been in the financial industry since 1991.

New Office in Boston
Boston Advisors, a boutique investment management firm with more than 35 years of experience managing assets for institutions, affluent individuals, and families, joined CAPTRUST in October. Led by President and Chief Investment Officer Michael J. Vogelzang, Boston Advisors’ Private Advisory Group team brought 15 people and more than $1.5 billion of client assets under management to CAPTRUST’s growing wealth management business. Please welcome financial advisors Michael Collins, Keith E. Faulkner, Lauren Lambert, Lawrence C. Manning, John H. Peterson, Kristen Stewart, Jamie Taloumis, and Michael J. Vogelzang.
Marie Pasquale As an asset liability manager in CAPTRUST’s Consulting Solutions Group, Marie Pasquale supports client service and business development initiatives focused on asset allocation, investment manager selection, and long-term investment strategy creation. Prior to joining CAPTRUST, Marie was an associate portfolio manager at Amundi Pioneer. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and sociology from the College of the Holy Cross. Marie is a CFA charterholder.
CAPTRUST RECOGNITION
Top 50 Privately Held Companies CAPTRUST was (again!) named in the Triangle Business Journal’s list of the Top 50 Privately Held Entities in the Triangle region of North Carolina. The list ranks companies by total number of employees and includes data on the number of Triangle-area employees, revenues, and business type. At number 34, CAPTRUST moved up 10 spots from last year!

NAPA Aces The National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) recently announced its 2020 list of Top Retirement Plan Advisors Under 40—also known as Aces. CAPTRUST’s Kyle Campbell, Shaun Eskamani, Patrick Flint, and Evan Holmes were among the 100 advisors named to the list. This year the list was rebranded as Aces from its previous title of Young Guns.
2019 Brick Award Winners
CAPTRUST presented its annual Bricks of Success Awards at the company’s Advisor Kickoff held in January in Raleigh, North Carolina. Award nominations and final voting are employee-driven, and the awards recognize employees and contributions that exemplify the very best of our company’s values, mission, and vision. Winners were presented with an engraved marble brick, symbolizing that our best colleagues are the building blocks of CAPTRUST’s culture and that any great company is built one brick at a time. FT Top 401 The Financial Times included 23 CAPTRUST advisors in the publication’s 2019 list of the 401 Top Retirement Advisors. The prestigious list recognizes financial advisors who specialize in serving defined contribution retirement plans, such as 401(k) and 403(b) plans.
Top Women Advisors The National Association of Plan Advisors announced its 2019 Top Women Advisors list acknowledging the women who are making significant contributions to the retirement industry and bringing excellence to their profession. CAPTRUST’s Beryl Ball, Deanna Bamford, Patricia Bills, Karen Casillas, Heather Darcy, Jean Duffy, Devyn Duex, Erica Blomgren, and Abigail Russell were recognized.
Thrive Awards In November, Wealth Management included CAPTRUST in its first listing of Thrive Award recipients. This first-of-its-kind program acknowledges companies, individuals, and teams who have turned out blockbuster revenue growth over the past three years. CAPTRUST made the list with 85 percent year-over-year organic growth in the wealth management business.
