MINUTES CMS MEMBERSHIP MEETING APRIL 19, 2022 - CAPITAL CITY COUNTRY CLUB

The mission of the Capital Medical Society is to promote the practice of medicine for the ultimate benefit of the patient.

I. Business Meeting

A. Welcome – Dr. Paresh Patel, President, called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. He welcomed everyone to our first in-person CMS Membership and CME Meeting since February 2020.

Program

Topic: “Advances in Cardiac and Thoracic Treatment: Minimally Invasive and State of the Art Procedures” Presenter: Juan Gallegos, M.D., Southern Medical Group

Dr. Gallegos gave an informative presentation on minimally invasive surgical options.

CME Proof of Attendance Forms were sent to participants who stayed for the entire CME program and completed an evaluation form.

Dr. Patel adjourned the meeting at 7:30 pm.
