Hereford Happenings Meents inducted into Livestock Marketeers Hall of Fame
Past American Hereford Association (AHA) field representative John Meents was inducted into the Livestock Marketeers Hall of Fame during the organization’s 57th annual banquet held June 14 in Kansas City, Mo. Meents was recognized for his decades of helping producers market their livestock. He served as a field representative for various organizations from 1978 until his retirement in 2021, including: American Yorkshire Club and its Yorkshire Journal, the Drovers Journal, American Polled Hereford Association and its Polled Hereford World, and AHA and its Hereford World.
