First word was aventura. (Repeated in German, English, Italian, Portuguese, French and Japanese.) REMI LAHAUSSOIS Sculptor. Winemaker. Homebuilder. Musician. Triathlete. We could go on. RICCARDO PASQUIN Born in a Venetian village. Wandered through Ireland, Bolivia and Portugal. Party trick: getting teary-eyed about il bel paese (the beautiful country). ROBERTO ALIPRANDI Roberto, former restaurateur, is your typical B&R polyglot: he speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German. ROSS MCLEAN Born to a family of musicians, Ross is no stranger to globetrotting. He is a trained wine connoisseur now based in Kyoto. RUPERT WILSON-YOUNG This Montreal-based outdoorsman fell in love with the wild at an early age, having hiked, biked, camped and guided his way through the Great White North. SAKIS MITSOULIS Master’s in fine art. Happily steeped in the finer things in life (probably how he ended up a luxe boating expert). Feels equally at home guiding in Bali, Japan, Utah and Croatia. SARAH LEWIS Master’s from the London School of Economics. Fluent in five languages. Has visited more countries than a diplomat.

SCOTT MCEWEN Ditched television to pursue cinema and guide with B&R. Now based at our HQ in Toronto. SEBASTIAN ROMERO Our resident filmmaker and photographer extraordinaire. Native of Germany. SEBASTIAN LALMAND Has designed and guided trips all over Spain, and biked from Brussels to Cairo. (Trust us, you’re in capable hands.) SIGRID LELIEVRE Sigrid’s background in film gives her a serious edge on finding the most scenic spots for a picnic. SJOERD VINK Born in southern Holland. Grew up on a bike. (It’s practically dictated by law there.) Has a degree from the Royal Academy of Art (which might explain the gorgeous photos he takes for us). SONIA TER HOVANESSIAN Our favourite Franco-Armenian jazz singer. Now calls Bologna home. STEFANO LOPEZ A native of Florence, he has travelled extensively in Europe, though his most recent adventure involved Grizzly bears in the Yukon. STEPHANE LECLERC A French-Canadian graphic designer with a penchant for adventure. STEPHANIE GULLEDGE Has journeyed through Europe, South America and Asia on two wheels. Now our trip designer in Colombia and Chile. TABITA MIOTTO When this Italian is not guiding for B&R, she’s either shaving off strokes from her golf game or tackling new hills on her bike. THILO ERHARDT Throw him in the sea? He becomes an expert diver. Send him to the European Space Agency? He walks out with a job. A German Parisian everything. THOMASE FRIESE Has guided B&R travellers through Italy and central Europe for precisely a decade. Has no plans of stopping. Not that we’d ever let him. TIBOR BARNA Gallivants around the world on two wheels. Did a 5,000 km bike trip through Southeast Asia. Should proooobably be the subject of a documentary. TIM RICHARDSON Our go-to guy in Bhutan, Nepal and New Zealand. Why? Can cook anything on a barbecue, cut a tree like a lumberjack and repair bikes like they’re made of Lego. Simultaneously. TIM SCHELLENBERGER Our favourite Brazil-based intellectual recently earned his Master’s. Happily shuts off his brain every few days to dive, drum and DJ.
