The McCullough-Fagan Lumber Company has been succeeded by the McCullough Lumber Company, Los Angeles and San Fiancisco. A. R. McCullough is the head of the concern, which does a large wholesale lumber business, and operates a line of boats.

The Whitney Lumber Company, Garibaldi, Oregon, has opened a sales office in San Francisco, with B. W. Shipley in charge. They operate a very large sawmill in Oregon'

The first winter meeting of the Central bermen's Club was held in Stockton on President S. J. Irwin in the chair.
