Here are the steps which the lumber dealer may take to make the "Good Americah Homes" program work in his' community:

1. Fill out and mail the reply card attached to brochure and sent to dealers. This will bring the dealer the elevations and floor plans of the homes that have been developed for the program. It will also put the dealer in line trr receive the kit of newspaper, radio, and direct mail promotional materials now being tested in the Detroit area.

2. The dealer should attempt to get in touch with the Contractors Building and Loan or financial institution which will work with him and give them a preview of the program.

3. When the Elevation and floor plans of the proposed house afe received, the dealer together with the contractor, and financial institution should select the model home or homes that will be built in his. area. Ted Baldwin, Inc' should be notified which home or homes will be built so that the actual working drawings can be sent to the dealer'

4. At this point, the dealer program will be co-ordinated with the national program and Ted Baldwin will schedule a visit of one of his men to the lo.cal dealer area to set up meetings with the local newspaper, radio, store, charity, and movie participation, and to synchronize the whole program with the national effort.

5. The Publicity kit and fully tested materials will be made available to dealers sending in the feply cards'

The whole basis of this program is the furtherance of the "Industry Engineered Home Principles" and the selling of a home building budget theme to the American people under the slogan, "It's Easy to Own a Good American Home."

This program is scheduled to get under way January 15 in all.parts of the country where building is possible and to coniinue to sweep across the nation wherever conditiohs permit.Eachbuildinglocationwillbecoordinatedwitlr the national promotion as construction' is scheduled and keyed in with the nation-wide program' rJc attendancd'and iegistra- The grain of Ponderosa Pine is straight, close and uniform.
