The selected radiata pine boards reportedly result in sawn lumber with excellent properties, including consistent color and strength, no knots or wane, and ability to paint, stain, glue, and dry to l0-127o moisture content.

Their even texture and relatively small difference in density between spring and summer wood result in outstanding machining properties.

The wood also is harvested from sustainable tree farms where welltimed pruning increases the volume of clear wood.
