Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice is calling on our incredible Blue Stream Academy team to look to the stars this winter, and help raise much-needed funds by joining the charity’s Twinkle, twinkle appeal.

The appeal gives people the opportunity to dedicate a star to someone they love, near or far, and in return they’ll receive an invitation to a moving virtual ceremony in December as well as a star to hang on their Christmas tree at home.
Each and every donation to Bluebell Wood’s Twinkle, twinkle appeal helps the charity be there for families who find Christmas incredibly challenging. Families like Sharon’s, who spent many happy years making memories at Bluebell Wood with her son, Saki, before he passed away at just 18 years old.
Now, almost two years after Saki died, Sharon is dedicating a star in his name to launch the second year of Bluebell Wood’s Twinkle, twinkle appeal, and is asking Blue Stream Academy – and fundraisers far and wide – to join her.

Bluebell Wood’s Twinkle, twinkle appeal is the perfect way to remember a loved one, or let the special people in our lives know they’re never far from our thoughts.
Supporting the hospice’s Christmas appeal also means they can be a real lifeline for local families, including those who sadly don’t know how many more Christmases they’ll have together.
So, as you reflect on those that mean so much to you this winter, please do support Twinkle, twinkle and help Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice make memories that the families in their care will always treasure.

Give the Gift of Love and Laughter this Christmas
It may not be quite time for Christmas carols just yet (we know that’s a very contentious subject in the office!), but you may want to start thinking about buying your Christmas cards, advent calendars, and presents.
This year Bluebell Wood’s range of cards and gifts is bigger than ever, and we’d love it if our colleagues thought about buying their cards from Blue Stream Academy’s local children’s hospice.
The profit from each item goes towards their vital care – helping children, young people and their families make magical memories, whether they have days, weeks, months or more together.
You can browse the hospice’s full range at www.bluebellwood.org/shop.
