Call to Order: Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 7:01 p.m. Out of respect, please turn off all phones & remove hats / Moment of Silence & Pledge of Allegiance

Proof of Notice: The agenda was posted on the Brookridge website, at the Administration office, the Clubhouse and emailed to residents on April 15, 2022 - PROOF OF NOTICE ESTABLISHED

Proof of Quorum : President Webster, 1st Vice President Duncan, 2nd Vice President Foster, Treasurer Benoit, and Director Basteri were present. Secretary Metcalf was excused. PROOF OF QUORUM ESTABLISHED.

Also Present : Recording Secretary Arlene Ahrens, Facilities Manager Vince Pizzo. General Manager Carol Webster and Code Enforcement Captain Greg Schubert were excused. Sign in sheet shows 28 members.

Approval of Minutes: Approval of March 16, 2022 - Membership meeting - minutes stand as submitted. Approval of March 16, 2022 - Organizational meeting - minutes stand as submitted.

Board Correspondence: Letter from Renee Jasnoch – read by Director Basteri

President's Report : A. Webster – introduced the Board of Director's. They are committed to be team players. The liaisons from the Board have met with their committees. A new vehicle for $32,000 has been approved for Code Enforcement. The Advisory Committee will have information to share by May. The Reserve Study has been completed as well as the audit. We want to be a state-of-the-art community. Repair of roads is being addressed. Thank you to all of the staff in the office, code enforcement and facilities, as well as the managers of those departments. Please do not let children under sixteen drive or steer your golf cart. That rule is in our by-laws. F.I.S.H. is still in need of nonperishable food donations, there is a bin at the clubhouse and administration office.

Treasurers Report: March – Benoit

Unfinished Business: Report of Advisory Committee – Steve Pasono – the Advisory Committee met with GM Carol Webster and Captain Greg Schubert, regarding the front gate access system. There are many layers to this project. The committee is getting bids from various vendors. By the middle of May, they should have everything needed to present.

New Business: Appointment of new director to Board – A. Webster – Resumes were submitted to fill the vacancy on the board. The new director is Lyle Steckelberg to serve a one-year term. Sworn in by President Webster. Past Due Account Suspensions – Benoit – Motion by Benoit, seconded by Duncan to approve accounts that are past due more than 90 days. Suspension of privileges will be imposed 7 days after the board's decision and will continue until the accounts are made current in accordance with Florida Statute 720.305. Vote taken, all in favor (7-0).

Report of Directors: Duncan – ACC meets twice a month and needs members. Foster – RV committee meets next month, please keep your spot neat and clean. Any questions or issues, see him, Gil Lanctot or Anna Webster. Benoit – he is still struggling in his position; he hopes to be able to move forward. Basteri – still getting her feet wet with beautification. They are working on the areas by the front gate, guard shack and administration office. Volunteers are still needed for this committee. Veterans Committee chairperson is now Gil Lanctot. There will be Memorial Day services on Monday, May 30. The Veterans advisory committee would appreciate any donations.
