Protests and Report of Athletic Rule Violations
BLUE HEN CONFERENCE RED-LINING PROCEDURES
1. All schools will have the opportunity to red-line an official following each of the three sport seasons.

2. Reasons for the red-line must be listed and completely justified.
3. It is not recommended that an official be red-lined for consecutive years; however, action of this nature will be accepted upon approval of the Blue
Hen Conference Red-line Committee. A full explanation of this type must accompany the red-line listing.
4. Any official red-lined will not work the home or away contests.
5. The Blue Hen Conference reserves the right to bar any official from games involving conference schools.
6. All listings submitted to the conference must show the signatures of the
Principal, Athletic Director and the Coach.

PROTESTS AND REPORTS OF ATHLETIC RULE VIOLATIONS
1. Protest reports regarding alleged game violations or DIAA rules violations should be made in writing to the Principal of the building within 2 days of the violation or as soon as the violation is identified.
2. The Principal will report the alleged violation to the Superintendent within 3 days of the alleged violation.
3. The Superintendent will determine if the alleged violation should be investigated and report the decision to the building Principal and
Superintendent.
4. If the alleged violation is investigated, the building Principal will report the incident to the appropriate athletic governing body. Copies of all reports must be sent to the Superintendent prior to their filing with the outside organization.
