successfully completed her latest challenge, a 160ft bungee jump at the Lloyds Amphitheatre in Bristol, adding more than £200 to the total she has raised for Beat, the UK’s leading eating disorders charity. Sophie, a former anorexia sufferer, said: “Never in my dreams did I ever think that I would do a bungee jump, however I must say that it was the most liberating experience of my life and one I will never forget.” “Beat get no funding from the government, so I want to raise as much money for them as I can. Throughout this whole fundraising journey, my mission has been to show people that whatever your size, personality, background or goals, being true to yourself and owning who you are is the way forward and the only way to living a healthy, happy, successful life.”
Sophie’s next fundraising event is a fun sports day at the SGS College WISE Campus on Sunday 2nd December, incorporating bubble football, table tennis and basketball.
