Impressive set of Post-16 exam results at BSCS
B
radley Stoke Community School (BSCS) students are celebrating another impressive set of Post-16 results, with 44 percent of all grades awarded being at A*-A and 59 percent A*-B. Students from the 2018 cohort are going to a wide range of destinations including university, an apprenticeship or an offer of employment. Over a quarter of the university offers received by students were from the top-tier Russell Group universities. Of the students choosing not to progress to university, a number are set to commence apprenticeships with employers such as the Ministry of Defence, MIDAS and GKN Aerospace. As always, there were some outstanding individual performances, including: • Joseph Chambers-Graham who achieved 4A*s (maths, further maths, computer science and physics) and will read mathematics and computer science at the University of Oxford • Emmanuelle Deliot who achieved 3A*s (French, law & psychology) and is leaving to study Chinese and French at the University of Leeds • Matteo Monaco who achieved 2A*s (maths and physics) and 2As (further maths and chemistry) and will be at Durham University next year studying physics • Enzo Steenkamp who achieved 1A* (physics) and 2As (maths and chemistry) and is going to complete an engineering degree apprenticeship at Airbus • Abi Todd who achieved 3As (maths, chemistry and biology) and is going to the University of Bristol to study medicine • Lauren Thawley who achieved 1A* (art) & 2Dist*s (media and IT) and is pursuing her love of fine art at the University of Worcester • Chloe Bowden who achieved 3As (history, psychology and law) and will study law at the University of Reading On Twitter?
