ANDY WILLETT Coaching Experience: Lance Mackay, a veteran of the Bozeman coaching scene, is in his third season for the Bucks and Spikes American Legion program. Mackay has served as an assistant coach at Bozeman High School since 2010, including two seasons as the head freshman coach. He spent 2013 through 2015 as the defensive line coach for the Hawks, 2013 being the undefeated state championship team, and 2015 also bringing a state championship to Bozeman High, prior to his time at the high school he coached football at Chief Joseph Middle School and Sacajawea Middle School. Mackay also coached baseball from 2006-2015 in Bozeman, leading a travel team, coaching at the Majors and Babe Ruth levels in Bozeman Baseball. Lance started his high school coaching life at Copper Hills High School in West Jordan Utah, with their baseball and football teams, and continued coaching when he moved to Great Falls MT in 1999. Mackay is from strong coaching bloodlines. His brother Guy is an accomplished coach and teacher in the Salt Lake City, Utah, area, and his father, the late Ken Mackay, played for the San Diego Chargers and later coached prep football. A Salt Lake City native, Mackay attended Dixie State University, playing Football, and the University of Utah with a degree in Engineering and Mathematics. He

and his wife Angie have three children – Josh, a MSU graduate attending graduate school. Chad, a Junior baseball player at Dickinson State University studying Computer Science and Graphic Design, and Elizabeth, a Bozeman High Senior, athletics manager. Elizabeth will be attending Dickinson State University as well in the fall of 2016, and helping manage their football program. Born in Seattle, WA, coach Gyselman grew up playing baseball and basketball. After high school, Jeff played for Bellevue Community College and Portland State University before being drafted in the 19th round by the Philadelphia Phillies. He played for 4 seasons working his way up to the AA Reading Phillies. Jeff has his BA from Portland State and his Turf Grass Management degree from Penn State University. He moved to Bozeman in 2012 and is currently the Golf Course Superintendent at Black Bull Golf Club.

Coaching Experience: Catching Clinics in Seattle, WA 1993-1995. Youth day camps for the Phillies organization 1996. Volunteer catching/pitching coach for both boys baseball and girls soft ball teams at Teton High in Driggs, ID 2006-2009. Bozeman Blackhawks coach 2014 & 2015 seasons.

Favorite Baseball Memory: Player – Playing card games on the long bus rides and meeting and becoming friends with players from all over the country.
