Our search for a bull to add frame without sacrificing substance ended at home. Formidable was purchased from us by Percyview Farms at this sale. He weighed in at a whopping 1890 lbs and his phenotype was (still is) unreal. As wide, big hipped, huge volume as you can make a bull. Everything about him is big but he carries it so well. His 1st calf crop was mostly daughters and they are extremely exciting. We will be using him extensively in our program in the future.

We purchased Express with Bouchard Livestock as the high selling bull out of Wheatland’s 2019 Sale for $110,000. He is sound, long bodied, moderate framed and moves like a cat. Not only have her progeny been at the top end of the pen year after year, but they have gone on to produce the exact same way or better. Great grandam is the great Reggie 110R donor. Welcome to our 14th annual bull sale. We can’t believe how quickly the years have passed. We have had some beautiful sale days, some terrible sale day blizzards, survived the Covid pandemic where buyers did not attend in person, and yet, all of the sales have been very successful and we are still here!
Our bulls are hand-fed Bullseye bull ration twice per day as well as chopped, free choice hay. We feel that this keeps their gut flora very healthy and they will maintain their condition better once they are out in your breeding pastures. These bulls are grown out, not fattened. We will semen test the bulls on March 10th at which point these bulls are not yet 12 months of age. The younger bulls will be at only 10.5 months of age so this testing will give a good indication of their sexual maturity. Many of them will pass at this young age and the bulls that are a deferred decision are bulls that we and our vet feel confident will be just fine by 13 months.
