A thick made, bull making moderate heifer. We love our Throttle females that bring world class udders and keep their condition on pasture. We reached to the back corner of the semen tank for the First Dream semen and this will be an exciting progeny. Her pedigree originates back to the donor Sofia cow that has left her genetic predictability throughout many herds with her offspring. This heifer has been a pasture tour favourite all summer. Bred GCF First Dream Mar 24, 2016 Exposed RTC 50B Apr 17th to June 15th Confirmed June 15 at 50 days estimate
Pedigree Explosion. Dam was a Star Power Embryo from the World Renowned Latisha L106. These genetics have crossed well with our 680S son by our donor cow Sofia. This heifer again comes from the front of our yearling pasture and was in our yearling show selection right to the final selection this past spring. If you need to make bulls or front pasture offspring with a genetic bomb, then blast this heifer into your program. Another Winchester 14W that is a paternal sister to our lead off red heifer. These Winchester are amazing cows, great udders, awesome temperament, and youthful appearance. Remember the Upper Class connection we talked about in 73C, we are given a triple chance to get this into your herd pedigrees. The Sunny Valley dam has produced previous high sellers in Futures Sales of past, and will continue to be a front pasture cow at destiny. This heifer is our sale feature red bred and will prove this in her years of progeny she will deliver consistently at her new home. Another bottom side genetic twist from Destiny with a Montana Black Dam. Her dam is phenotypical perfect with a strong udder and youthful presentation that still matrons our pastures. This yearling is profiling this great dam and the Winchester progeny, setting up a perfect udder with that power of presence about her. The Winchester 14W sire is a proven performer and is a bull Shane and I developed together , and he is the same pedigree that the Upper Class family originates from …… Yes Upper Class, with progeny at Jetstream, FARL, Labbatte, Greyledge, Keystone, Triple Rose, Rosemead, CDM, FSMB and more. She was in heat with a group of receps, so we put a Sofia embryo in her first round as we had planned on her retaining but several visitors this summer demanded her to be in the sale. Planted April 17 embryo RTC 5N to TH8R ( Sofia by Black Edition). Exposed RTC 50B Apr 17th to June 15th Confirmed June 15th at 45 day estimate
Another solid red heifer with the Winchester 14W influence, this time coming through the bottom side. Add the reserve champion RAWF bull of Destiny Brawler, now walking RK pastures, it gives opportunity to expand these genetics with predictability and consistency. Added to this pedigree is the great KS Kelsey cow and our little donor cow “Kandee”. A rock solid heifer to produce in your herd for many years.

Our lone heifer calf entry, A Pitboss heifer with extra dimension of rib and substance. We offer this female for a show prospect, as her dam 18X, a past show winner for us, has consistently put one into or near our show string for multiple years. With the dam being a Dream On/Joker combination, the opportunity is predictable. Her yearling maternal sister is being shown this year by Carissa Cabral and family that has been competitive.

A beautiful, red Bootlegger heifer out of a consistent Beef Maker cow that was purchased from Maple Key Simmentals in the 2009 Futures One Sale. Silk is a functional, eyeappealing heifer that is strong topped and wedge shaped. She comes from a long line of productive stock and we probably don’t have a cow around the place that is as low maintenance as the powerful 8U. She has daughters working in purebred herds that are producing well for their new owners. Discovery has worked well in our program so far and it is noted that his strength will be in his daughters. Halter broke for a future 4-H project, Silk is the best 2016 heifer calf at Cedar Creek.
? e n i l n o d i b o t How HOW TO PARTICIPATE • In order to participate in the online auction you will need to pre-register and obtain a buyer number. To do this, go to the LiveAuctions website, www. liveauctions.tv and select Futures One Internet Sale. • After logging, in the buyer registration form should pop up automatically. If it doesn’t there is a link you can select that says “register for a buyer number’. This form requires you to fi ll out your bank name, city, state (province), phone number and a contact. • You may register to bid after the sale opens, but please remember that authorization to bid is not instantaneous. We recommend that your register for a buyer number at least the day before the closing of the sale. • If you do not feel comfortable bidding online, please feel free to contact anyone at the front of the sale catalogue and bidding can be done directly through a person. HOW THE AUCTION WORKS • Once you have a username and have received a buyer number then you are ready to bid. You will see a screen that is unique to your user ID. • There will be a list containing the sale lots. If you click on a lot, the video clip or photo will be displayed to the right. The next bid, current price, proxy bid and manual bid buttons will be displayed below the video area. This page will react to your bids by stating, “you are in” or “you are out”. • No one else will be able to see your bid - that data is not accessible to the public. Each time you login, the auction screen will display your personal bidding information. Your auction screen is unique and private - displaying your activity to only you. • Remember that you must have the lot that you are bidding on selected. This is where it tells you if you are in or out. It is here where you can also see your proxy bid settings (as applicable). WHAT IS A PROXY BID? With a proxy bid you can enter your maximum bid and then sit back and watch. When you enter a proxy bid amount the LiveAuctions system automatically bids on your behalf up to your maximum bid. If the lot closes out for less than your maximum, that’s all you pay. This means that you don’t have to keep coming back to re-bid every time another bid is placed. This makes it more convenient and less time consuming. It can also greatly assist those breeders that can’t be near a computer or are busy with other duties at the time of final bidding and closeout. Your maximum amount is kept confidential from other bidder and the seller. Even though you can see this amount on your screen no one else can. The LiveAuctions system compares your bid to those of the other registered bidders and the system automatically places bids on your behalf, using only as much of your bid as is necessary to maintain your high bid position. The system will only bid up to your maximum amount necessary to maintain you as the high bidder. If another bidder had a higher maximum you’ll be outbid and the system will tell you that “YOU’RE OUT”. But if no other bidder has a higher maximum you win the final bid. THE FINAL CLOSE OUT BIDDING PROCESS When the bidding starts the bidding clock will run for a pre announced time (usually 30-45 seconds) or until there is a bid at which time the clock will rewind to its original 30 or 45 seconds. For example: if the bidding clock gets down to 1 second remaining then a higher bid is submitted, the clock will then restart. The rewind process will continue with each bid received until the allotted time elapses without a bid. Then the lot will be considered sold. Each year we receive a few calls after the sale from breeders who were interested in bidding on an animal, but failed to watch the bidding clock and let the bidding time expire. So if you are interested in a particular animal be sure to submit your bid while there is still time on the clock. This is where using the proxy bid can come in handy - ensuring you do not miss a bid! The final sale close out will begin 7:00 pm EST on Saturday, November 19, 2016. We will have a pre-posted sale order that we will follow for the close out. At that time will be starting with the close out for the first lot on the sale order. At this time you may only bid on this lot, their video will be displayed as well as the clock counting down. There will also be a LiveAutions tech announcing during this time what price we are at and the amount of time left on the clock (this information is also visible on your screen at this time). Once that lot has sold, we will move on to the next lot and so on until all the lots have been closed one at a time. If you have any questions feel free to contact any of the LiveAuctions staff and that would be happy to assist you.
