Will Smith declined to reappear as military pilot, Steven Hiller. In the sequel, Jessie Usher, playing Will Smith’s character’s stepson, takes up the fight against aliens to save the humanity from a ruthless extinction. Healed from its first alien invasion, the nations of the Earth have collaborated on an immense defence program, using recovered remains of alien technology. But nothing can prepare Earth for the aliens’ unprecedented force. With new advanced technologies, aliens are once again threatening humanity. Will mankind’s defences be enough to save the planet?
Barclaycard’s British Summer Time comes to Hyde Park on Fri 1 – Sun 10 July. This summer extravaganza will feature the very best in live music, comedy acts and film. There’s also a range of cafes, bistros, independent food stalls, and themed pubs and cocktail bars to keep you refreshed in between the entertainment.
