Our free standing cottage homes are described as large, spacious and bright. We offer two and three bedroom cottage homes with oversized garages. Our cottage homes are purposely appointed with porches, gas stoves, stainless steel appliances and oversized master bathrooms and closets.

“There is something for everyone”, says Linda, a Holbrook resident. “I have lived here for two years and still have not tried everything on the calendar. I wake up in the morning and head downstairs for breakfast. We refer to it as the ‘Breakfast Club’. What better way to start your day than a healthy variety of your choice of a hot made-to-order breakfast or a light continental breakfast with a group of friends. Before moving to Holbrook I was married 48 years. I miss my late husband but I’m thankful to The Holbrook. When I moved in, I spent my first few months doing activities that I was familiar with - mostly Bingo, Trivia and Bridge. I slowly started trying new things. Now, every morning, I take the fitness or water aerobic classes, I’ve joined the book club, take a weekly art class (by an amazing instructor), I’ve joined the Holbrook professional chorus, attend bible study, do volunteer work, attend regular lectures and the writing society. The day goes by so fast, because before you know it, it’s time for Happy Hour! This is such a great time to catch up with my neighbors and friends. We share stories about our past or we share about all the offerings and activities at The Holbrook. I still can’t believe that my next door neighbor went ziplining and skydiving on The Holbrook Bucket List trip!”

“If you were to ask my daughter, she would call or text me every day worrying about me, because I do not answer my phone. I explained to her how it is not polite to answer your phone in the middle of a Wine Tasting or during our Chili Cook-Off! I am blessed to have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. They call Grandma’s house Granny’s Mansion. They love to come to dinner with me, swim in the pool and play games in the billiards room. One night my 8 year old grandson spent the night with me, and woke up hungry at midnight. We went downstairs in our Holbrook robes and bought ice cream in the store! He thinks I have the ‘coolest’ place to live, and so do I. All the staff here are so accommodating and open to our suggestions. Today, I requested a trip to the mall in the community Mercedes Van. I need something to wear to our upcoming New Year’s Eve party…who would have thought!”
