While You’re Here Parking in Blowing Rock

Blowing Rock can get very busy in summer and fall, particularly on weekends. Weekdays are the best time to visit for easy parking and less crowding in summer and fall. If you can’t make it on a weekday, here are some parking tips to make your visit more relaxed:

Arrive early. Finding a parking space is easiest before 11am and after 5pm.

Park off Main Street. Most spaces off Main Street do not have time limits- get in early and park as long as you need. Bring a little cash on event weekends. Some local organizations may charge a small fee for parking in their lots, like Blowing Rock School and Rumple Church.

Stay at one of many hotels, inns, and rentals within walking distance of downtown to eliminate parking searches!
