Making great strides to cure cystic fibrosis A

The Kinsmen were out in force, along with Dairy Queen owners Jim and Kristie Costain, cooking and serving the barbecue lunch. M.C. John Milligan welcomed the walkers and thanked the sponsors with a special thanks to title sponsor Carstar; representatives from Carstar Campbell River – Rich’s Autobody – and Courtenay – TC Valley Collision – were on hand to help out. Milligan also thanked sponsors Marine Harvest, Capacity Forest Management, Boston Pizza, Dairy Queen, Thrifty Foods, Quality Foods, Coca Cola, Old Dutch and Shoppers Drug Mart. “This walk means everything to our family – our daughter Maysa who has CF is benefitting from the dollars raised at events like this,” Milligan said.
