Fire in the night Feb. 20 at 7 pm police received a report of a building on fire on Hwy 1 east of Cache Creek. The building was on CN prop-
erty and was a planned burn. Notices were posted along the highway, but it was dark and snowing a the time and the notices went unseen.
Skating rink roads Feb. 21 at 9:30 am police attended a single vehicle accident on the Bonaparte Reserve after a 54 year old driver lost control of his pickup on the icy streets. The truck
had studded tires, but slid into a ditch and rolled. The driver was not injured.
