WUZZLES

Part-time Accountant/Bookkeeper Opportunity - Lytton A contract position is open for a part-time Accountant/ Bookkeeper in a local internet provider office. Qualifications for this role are a minimum of 5 years experience in full cycle accounting and bookkeeping in a small organization. Must be well versed in the Canadian GAAP guidelines. Must be able to work independently and have experience working on a computerized accounting system. In this position you will report to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis. Responsibilities include: Bookkeeping on computerized system. Cash control, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer invoicing, collections, deposits, banking and reconciliation of accounts. Internet Token preparation, distribution and collection. Monthly

financial
statements
for
presentation to the Board. File control, including set-up and maintenance of company files, customer files, customer database, procedures manual and others as required. What a great way to end our season and boy did our team deserve a win after all the hard work they did all year. The team was off to Merritt on Sunday for one more game. The game was played well by both teams and our kids were finally able to have a taste of victory with a 13-5 final score for the Ashcroft Chiefs! #60 Tyler Antoine scored twice, #22 Monika Paulos scored twice, #88 Lloyd Johnson had three goals, #19 Griffin Aie had two goals and three assists, #77 Hunter Beckett had three goals and two assists, #23 Kate Curran with one goal, #21 Kraig Loring, #24 Hayden Aie and #25 Tristen Harder each with an assist. After a lunch break the teams were out on the ice for another game. Our coaches mixed things up a bit and put the defense forward, moving some of our forwards back to defense! Tyris Peters was our goalie for this game and played really well. It was a well fought battle and our team was once again victorious with

Well we are coming to the end of our hockey season, the ice will be done after the Beer Belly tournament March 2-4. Ashcroft’s Peewee team completed their playoff games a few weeks ago against Lillooet, losing both games in a double header, with Lloyd Johnson stepping up to be our goalie, as Pearce Brown is out for the remainder of the season with a broken finger. The players fought hard against their opponents and, as always, showed their team spirit! With the super league season over, we were able to arrange some exhibition games with a team from Logan Lake on Saturday. The first game began at 9:30 am and our team came out strong, with #77 Hunter Beckett scoring in the first 34 seconds! Logan Lake answered back with one of their own.
