9’4’’ Nat Young The elder statesman’s choice When five times world champion Nat Young declares his respect for a particular longboard, you know it’s going to be exceptional. Designed by his long time surfing mate Darrell “Rooster” Dell, this 9’4” is Nat’s personal favourite – and it’s also the preferred longboard of many intermediate and experienced surfers who want a longboard that combines superb design, smooth wave entry and speed with exceptional manoeuvrability. Darrell’s 9’4’’ design is lightly concaved with conventional rocker through the nose, which then flows into a flattened area right below the rider in the paddling position to allow efficient paddling and smooth wave selection. From there it moves into a rolled V, pronounced under foot to provide easy and smooth rail to rail transitions. Managing to deftly combine the delicate combination of those two critical design factors ensures that the board is the ultimate in versatile surfing, with all the characteristics of regular construction with regard to weight and stiffness, and the sturdiness of E-Comp Technology.

10’0’’ Noserider Outstanding flexibility! Offering big volume for big riders, Bob Pearson poured over a quarter of a century’s shaping experience and devotion to longboarding into this refined 10’ longboard. Incorporating well-proportioned volume and excellent glide with outstanding noseriding design, it’s suitable for the surfing spectrum from absolute beginner through to seasoned campaigner. The 10’ Noserider is one of the easiest boards to paddle, its modern design ensures effortless and early wave entry, while its light and durable E-Comp construction makes it effortless to handle in and out of the water.

Construction Technique: The process forms the top and bottom - (ASA) surfaces of the board over aluminium moulds. These formed surfaces are then pressed over a pre-shaped, lightweight EPS foam core, (the lightest surfboard foam available) which is covered in 6-oz fibre glass cloth and epoxy resin to give the board strength. This construction provides an extremely stiff, lightweight surfboard that is approximately 30% more durable than a standard polyester surfboard but almost identical with regard to its flex characteristics and weight.
