GUARD LEVEL® HPT 1/2/3 Series

The GUARD LEVEL® HPT (hydrostatic pressure transducer) series are rugged stainless steel, Intrinsically Safe sensors that easily and accurately measure pressure readings in any tank environment.

Hydrostatic Pressure Transducer (HPT)

From high pressure full fuel oil tanks to tank vapor line lower pressure situations, the HPT-1, HPT-2 and HPT-3 sensors work to assure ease and high accuracy, with safety first on the list. And, for all sensors, pressure ranges can be set according to your exact specifications.

The HPT-1 is connected via stainless steel tube. Most common applications are vapor line, cargo manifold and pump pressure measurements. It’s fitted within the NEMA 4X / IP67 junction box and electrical connection is a simple 2-core cable with an industry standard 4-20mA output signal.

Let us know your requirements. Pressure ranges can be set from zero to 300Psi (high pressure applications) and from -1 to 4 PSI for vapor line or other low-pressure measurements.

The GUARD LEVEL® HPT-2 operates with an integral flange connection. It is used to measure fuel oil tanks and other service tanks as well as low pressure applications such as tank vapor line pressure.

The sensor is fitted within the NEMA 4X / IP67 junction box and electrical connection is a simple 2-core cable with an industry standard 4-20mA output signal.

SERVICEABLE SENSOR WITHOUT TANK ENTRY made for the harshest conditions yet is incredibly sturdy and accurate.

With its unique construction, the sensor can be installed or removed without tank entry and most importantly, can be performed without need of emptying the tank – a major safety advantage.

The attached PUR cable is suitable for fuel and diesel oil submersion and is simply cut to length depending upon tank height. Sensor termination can be done with the associated HPT-3 (NEMA 4X IP67) deck junction box.
