Benjamin M. Soto

Benjamin M. Soto has over three decades of experience as a real estate attorney and business owner. He leads two real estate-focused companies and is licensed to practice in both the District of Columbia and the state of Pennsylvania. He owns Premium Title & Escrow, LLC, a company he established in 2000. The firm provides full-service title and settlement support for residential and commercial properties in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Tennessee. Recognized as one of the highest volume title companies in the DMV area, the business is supported by a team with more than 100 years of combined experience. Services include title searches, closing coordination, and the issuance of Owner’s and Lender’s Title Policies, while also managing escrow accounts and recording documents to ensure smooth and accurate transactions. He also owns Paramount Development, LLC, which focuses on commercial development and hotel projects in Washington, D.C. The company played a role in The Wharf and developed several significant apartment buildings, including 555 E Street, SW. That property features a hotel, residential units, and retail space. Other projects include 1031 4th Street, NW, 350 Maple Drive, and the Hyatt Place Hotel at 400 East Street, SW. Completed in 2015, the Hyatt Place includes modern features and a fire station that houses units responsible for protecting the U.S. President. He serves on the boards of EagleBank, the DC Chamber of Commerce, the DC Public Education Fund, and the American University Real Estate Council. Earlier in his career, he handled bankruptcy cases before moving entirely into real estate transactions. He has also served on several civic boards and contributed to local political campaigns as treasurer.
