AT COVENTRY RESOURCE & SENIOR CENTER The Coventry Resource & Senior Center, 50 Wood Street, Coventry is offering Zumba Fitness Classes on Tuesdays from 11:15AM-12:15PM. Join them for some fun, easy to follow, low impact dance moves. Cost is $3 per class. Call 822-9175 to register.

BE THE CHANGE/PROJECT HAND UP Be The Change/Project Hand Up is a non-profit, food supplement program located at 15 Factory Street in West Warwick. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are offering curbside pick-up of 3 bags of groceries for $6. SPRING/ SUMMER HOURS: Tuesdays 3-5PM for anyone with the last name that begins with A-K, Thursdays 3-5PM for last names beginning with L-Z & Fridays 3-5PM for Seniors (60+). Seniors may shop either your alphabet day or Senior day, not both. You will receive a bag of produce, a bag of non-perishables, bread & pastry, and a bag of dairy, frozen foods & meat (when available). Please visit them on facebook for more information. VOLUNTEER TOUR GUIDES NEEDED The Paine House, 7 Station Street in Coventry is looking for volunteer Tour Guides to share this unique historical site with the general public. Can you spare a few hours once or twice a month? All training and materials will be provided, no special skills required. This opportunity is suitable for High School students to adults. XAVIER ACADEMY HOMECOMING St. Francis Xavier Academy Alumnae Association (SXA) Homecoming is October 23, with an 11AM Mass at St. Timothy Church, Warwick, followed immediately by lunch at the Crowne Plaza, Warwick. This year, due to prior COVID restrictions, the classes of 1970, ‘71 & ‘72 will be honored for their 50th Anniversary. Scholarships are announced during lunch. FREE DAY AT NATHANAEL GREENE HOMESTEAD The Nathanael Greene Homestead, 50 Taft Street in Coventry will be open from 10AM-3PM on July 4 for free self guided tours. RICE CITY CHURCH 18TH MUSIC NIGHT Rice City Church, 63 Vaughn Hollow Road, Greene (off Rte 14), will hold their 18th Music Night on June 12 from 6-7PM. This Music Night will celebrate the legacy of Phyllis Dexter, founder of Music Night. A free will offering is optional. FRIENDS OF THE WEST WARWICK PUBLIC LIBRARY BASKET RAFFLE The Friends of the West Warwick Public Library will once again hold their Spring Basket Raffle.
