The Nose Knows

My large nose caused me much angst during my teen years (thanks Dad), but over the years I’ve come to appreciate it.

You might say I’ve grown attached to it; it’s Romanesque with Patrician tendencies. Well, at least in my mind. All was fine until the pandemic and masks became necessary. My beak presented problems. Multilayered fabric meant fabric up the nose. Fit was often tight which meant the large nose turned red. Looking like Rudolph seemed my future. But I persevered and tried mask after mask. Finally, found one that fits that I could wear all day. I felt like a pandemic Cinderella.
