BLDG 1825 BC Building Code: Multi-Unit and Small Buildings

This program offers a unique interdisciplinary approach that combines the theory and practical skills necessary to deliver durable, healthy, comfortable, and energy-efficient buildings. This two-year, full-time program may be studied on a part-time basis. Students who meet the entry requirements but who do not wish to enrol in the program, may register for the following courses with departmental approval.

If you have completed the Construction Operations program, this is the next step to advance your career. This program provides you with the skills and knowledge to successfully supervise many aspects of construction operations. Job opportunities are varied and an increasing number of employers are looking for employees who have successfully completed the program.

BCIT and the Vancouver Regional Construction Association jointly offer a multi-level, part-time training program for people who wish to enter the construction industry, or for those in the industry wishing to enhance their career potential. This program is open to anyone, subject to minimum entrance requirements (Grade 10 math and English), and is specifically designed to accommodate individuals with a trades background. The program consists of 18 credits of required courses and a minimum six credits of electives.
