100% VEGAN, 100% WORTH THE WAIT! ELEVATION BURGER LAUNCHES NEW VEGAN BURGER Always in touch with the local community’s continuously evolving demands and the fast-casual concept’s commitment to elevating your favorite burger experience into an organic and flavorful one, it came as no surprise to us when we found out that Elevation Burger was planning on adding a Vegan Burger to its roster of delicious offerings. It’s really refreshing to see dining concepts that are committed to what their customers want, as the new Vegan Burger caters to a largely growing community of vegan diners looking to share in the renowned Elevation Burger experience. Launched on the 12th and 13th of January via an exclusive tasting event at Elevation Burger Al Seif, foodies from different walks of life and select members of the press flocked to the iconic location to sample the allnew organic vegan patty. It was a cozy evening complete with local musicians playing international and Arabic favorites on the flute and guitar by two performers from @Jazz_time, setting the tone for the entire evening. With Al Seif’s casual outdoor seating area, the launch of the Vegan Burger brought together the local community in an informal, group setting. Every person who then tried the Vegan Burger was rewarded with a sticker that said “I tried the Vegan Burger at Elevation.” As for the organic vegan patty itself, Elevation Burger has successfully delivered on both presentation, texture and taste. Bursting with flavor with whole chunks of carrot, corn kernels, and a vibrant array of root vegetables and grain, the vegan patty is a celebration of freshness. Expertly seared for a perfect crisp on the outside, the thin crust gives way to a heartwarming fluffy inside; the patty is served in an organic vegan bun to complete the experience. The Vegan Burger is available at all Elevation Burger locations across Kuwait. For more information, please check out @Elevationkw on Instagram.

CONCLUDING NUQAT’S ‘REGIONAL CONFERENCE 2019’: “STATE OF THE ELASTIC MIND” Leading pan-Arab non-profit organization for cultural development – Nuqat – recently held their Regional Conference 2019, set under the theme ‘State of the Elastic Mind: A New Mindset for Old Barriers’. Nuqat’s ten-day Conference (marking its 10-year anniversary milestone) was one of the largest multifaceted cultural events taking place in the Middle East. Innovative thinkers, creatives, activists, and policy makers from all over the Arab world gathered at the Amiricani Cultural Centre in Kuwait to engage in a multidisciplinary dialogue that encompassed art, culture, architecture, design, technology, social and environmental issues with the aim of cultivating creative development in the Middle East. With the main event taking place in Kuwait, Nuqat organized other cultural activities of the Regional Conference across seven cities within the Arab world. The launch in Kuwait kicked off with three days of lectures, talks and discussion panels, followed by seven days of cultural workshops conducted for different age groups. Prominent speakers addressed the emerging issue of the necessity to collectively rewire our thinking and behavior in order to conquer personal, social, and structural obstacles. Renowned cyborg artists Neil Harbisson and Moon Ribas also made a special appearance and presented an extraordinary show. Nuqat’s Regional Conference workshops were conducted by prominent cultural figures, with names such as Dr. Raffi Tchakerian, George Azar and Tariq Al Olaimy joining in. This year Nuqat took the workshops further to become more multi-disciplinary, bringing participants from different backgrounds to design solutions for problems regarding social inclusivity, environmental sustainability, urban design and authentic storytelling.
