LAUREN JOHNSON IS a lifetime resident of Baton Rouge, graduating from St. Michael High School, then receiving her degree from LSU. She then went on to work in the marketing field for the Department of Corrections. Lauren took a leap of faith in 2011 to join a family team and sell real estate with her sister and her sister’s motherin-law at RE/MAX Professional. She has been a member of the 100% club for six years and enjoys working with first-time home buyers, investors and luxury properties. LISA LANDERS BEGAN her real estate career in 2004 after a 17-year career in education, serving as Spanish teacher and then guidance counselor at Catholic High School, and has a master’s degree from LSU. Since she began her real estate career, she has been a top-producing REALTOR®, receiving high level awards from her brokerage. She has served for two years on the board of directors for the Greater Baton Rouge Board of REALTORS®. Lisa opened RE/MAX Professional in 2011 with six other agents and has grown her company to 41 agents. She won Broker of the Year for RE/MAX Louisiana in 2012 and 2015. She is a member of The Landers Team with her daughter-in-law Melissa Landers and Melissa’s sister Lauren Johnson. The Landers Team serves a wide variety of clients, including luxury homes, first-time home buyers and investors. Lisa has two grown children and four grandchildren and has lived in Baton Rouge with her husband David for most of her life.
MELISSA LANDERS GRADUATED from Louisiana State University in 2002 with a degree in mass communication. She began her career working for the Convention & Visitors Bureau of New Orleans, then moved back to Baton Rouge to become the communications director for a local insurance carrier. After the birth of her first child, she made the decision to change careers so that she could have more time with her growing family. In 2009 she joined her mother-in-law, Lisa Landers, and started The Landers Team. Two short years later it made perfect sense to add her sister, Lauren Johnson, to the team. The Landers Team remains in the top five teams for RE/MAX Louisiana, this year placing third. Melissa is an active wife, mother to two beautiful young daughters, parishioner at St. Aloysius Church and volunteers at St. Aloysius School where her daughters attend. Melissa prides herself in customer service, her attention to detail and extensive knowledge of the Baton Rouge real estate market.
