Bringing Holiday Hope to Community Non-Profits IN DECEMBER, BANDERA ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE embraced the
holiday season by extending generous support to local nonprofits, bringing warmth and joy to the community. With donations totaling over $7,500, BEC set out to make a difference for those in need during this special time of year. Among the recipients of BEC’s generosity were Bandera Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Arms of Hope in Medina, Hill Country Youth Ranch in Leakey, Ridin’ the River Cowboy Fellowship in Bandera, and Silver Sage in Bandera. Each of these organizations received a $1,500 donation, dedicated to spreading holiday cheer and bringing hope and joy to those most in need. This past holiday season, these key community organizations made a meaningful impact through the generosity of BEC’s Holiday Giving donations. These contributions helped provide holiday meals to families in need, ensuring no one went without a warm, festive meal to celebrate the season.

Additionally, the donations supported efforts to spread holiday cheer by assisting families in creating joyful memories and traditions, giving them the holiday season they deserve. One of the recipients, Hill Country Youth Ranch, expressed heartfelt gratitude for their donation. Specializing in providing a safe, loving, and life-enhancing Christian environment, the ranch offers children and young adults who have experienced trauma a place to heal and grow. Executive Director Krystle Ramsay shared, “We used this money for all our holiday activities geared toward giving the kids at the ranch opportunities for normal, family life experiences.” BEC was proud to support these local non-profits in their efforts in making a meaningful difference during the holiday season.
