2020 on Central Lobby Renovation The owners wanted to bring 2020 on Central to the 21st century with its latest redesigns, which recrafted the main lobby. The architects were challenged to “activate, centralize, connect, focus and accentuate” the lobby area within the building,

which was built in the 1980s. This oversized lobby was first built to accommodate both the tower it rests in and a planned second tower that never came into fruition. The redesign brought the lobby back to the world of relevancy, curbing the outdated

setting. During the day, the sun’s light rules all, but at night an impressive light fixture can be seen from Central Avenue. The original interior metal paneling was preserved within this space, while furniture zones were created to host tenants for any need.
