PEAK 8 IN BRECKENRIDGE GONDOLA RIDE
(This trip is not suitable for participants with walkers/wheelchairs.) Was Breckenridge too cold in the winter? Try it in the summer! The Breckenridge Gondola will give us a bird’s eye view of the mountain area as it transports us to the base of Peak 8 in the Rocky Mountains. The gondola is quite a transportation device, with 121 fully enclosed baskets (cabins) rotating up the incline. Each of these cabins can seat a max of 8 guests and unlike a ski lift, riders are fully enclosed. Once inside the gondola, riders can look out the large windows and take in the surrounding views upon ascent up the mountain. Look for moose and bald eagles below and enjoy the ride of a lifetime! TERRY BISON RANCH & TRAIN TOUR
Get up close and personal with the Great North American Bison as we travel to Cheyenne, Wyoming to Terry Bison Ranch. Partake in a train journey across the ranch to view these phenomenal animals in their natural landscape. With an extensive history and culture full of cowboys, this train tour will not disappoint. After the train ride, enjoy lunch at the Senator’s Steakhouse & Brass Buffalo Saloon. Be sure to make your way to the trading post before heading back to Aurora. CHEROKEE RANCH CASTLE TOUR AND TEA
Cherokee Castle’s unique architecture combines aspects of the Western United States and a 1450’s Scottish-style castle built in the 1920’s. The Castle is home to historic collections of fine art, furnishings and memorabilia from around the world. A guided Tour of the Castle offers an intimate look upon one of Colorado’s finest hidden gems and all the treasures housed inside. Legally Blonde is a 2007 musical with music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and book by Heather Hach. The story is based on the novel Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name. It tells the story of Elle Woods, a sorority girl who enrolls at Harvard Law School to win back her ex-boyfriend Warner. She discovers how her knowledge of the law can help others, and she successfully defends exercise queen Brooke Wyndham in a murder trial. Throughout the show, very few characters have faith in Elle Woods, but she manages to surprise them when she defies expectations while staying true to herself.
