History meets future With our 90-year history behind us, and the opportunities and challenges of the future ahead, we wanted to create a forum where our history could meet the future and present it all in a new concept luminaire for Aura Light. So where to start? Looking back on our history, we drew inspiration from the legendary designer, Stig Lindberg, with his timeless style, soft lines and the products he designed for us in the 1950s. The next step was to take the very latest technology, add our own innovative expertise and integrate it all into a unique, stylish and functional unit. Our approach to all of this was based on the concepts of sustainability and a circular economy to get a product that could meet the challenges of the future. The result is Horisont, a high-end concept luminaire with a unique design, created to last for generations to come and made to inspire you to go beyond the ordinary

RGBW chip-technology for comfort The high-quality RGBW chip-technology will enable you to create a better working environment and follow the circadian rhythm for Human Centric Lighting. Or, use Horisont to highlight focal pieces and create an atmosphere that expresses your own unique style, personality and touch.
Flexible as you go It’s easy to adjust the lighting at any time to create the right conditions. Use the accompanying mobile app to select pre-set scenarios or fine-tune the lighting according to your needs.
Unique lenses for unique lighting The unique, interchangeable lenses provide you with the flexibility to customize the lighting distribution according to your preferences. The spotlights themselves are 360° rotatable and 30° tiltable so that you can direct the light exactly how you want to.
Make the most of it Make the most of Horisont by adding sensors to measure air quality, room temperature, humidity and even sound level. You can integrate speakers and with a single tool, control and create an environment that matches your mood and meets your needs at all times.
Stylish look with 24 V We have implemented 24-volt technology and scaled back the wiring to create a truly stylish and safe luminaire with a clean look.
Made to last for generations We have a long history as innovators in lighting. It’s a path we intend to follow for many years to come. All of us, too, must do our part in making smart, responsible decisions both now and in the future. At Aura Light, we are therefore taking important steps to integrate more renewable raw materials, thereby conserving fossil resources and helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Horisont has been manufactured from Stora Enso’s woodfiber biocomposite material, DuraSense™. It is a blend of wood fibres and plastic material, offering a light and flexible solution with the mouldability of plastic, yet the sustainable benefits of wood. In other words, it’s the perfect material for creating durable, environmentally-friendly luminaires. In this way, we have designed and manufactured a product based on the closed-loop approach and our commitment to maximum lifespan, minimal waste and the ability reuse, remake or recycle Horisont at the end of its useful life.
