Over the past three decades, Lebanon County’s population has risen steadily as economic development efforts have come to fruition and jobs and opportunities increased throughout the region. Senior Living in the Lebanon Valley

Starting shortly after the conclusion of World War II, church related retirement communities began to develop in Lebanon County. The first of these was Cornwall Manor, which was established as the Methodist Church Home at Cornwall in 1949. Six decades later, there are numerous, significant, senior lifestyle communities scattered throughout the Lebanon Valley in Cornwall, Myerstown, Palmyra, and Annville.

These senior living retirement communities range from 55-plus, adult living communities to retirement communities that offer a full range of retirement and senior living services, including apartments, residential cottages and houses, skilled nursing care, independent living, personal care, home health care, and campus health services.
